Although there can be various minuscule criteria which can be kept under mind while evaluating a startup pitch, but a few of them stands out to be rather important ones:
1. TEAM
Judges are usually looking for a team that is multidisciplinary and complementary, and has the capacity to meet its targets.
2. MARKET VALIDATION
They want to see if you have the market knowledge and if you have the problem solving skills.
3. PRODUCT
Obviously, product is important but description of it is important as well. Having a functional market value proposition (MVP) is crucial.
4. BUSINESS MODEL
Well, the business model should be scalable – it must be global in scope, or at least regional.
5. SOFT SKILLS
The entrepreneur should be assertive and clear when speaking about her startup, he should be clear and have position himself truly as a leader.
